This training program followed the investment life-cycle logic to help IPAs and policymakers strengthen capacities to more effectively attract, establish, retain and expand F01, as well as to link it to domestic economies. Sessions included a combination of best-practice sharing, research summaries, moderated group discussions, a case study as well as insights from IPA management and investors.
I am going back to Bulgaria with great ideas from this training and I will do whatever is necessary to implement them to make my country a better destination for investments.
We congratulate you on organizing this professional, practical, and necessary training. We highly appreciate the professional presentation, which was transmitted with practical experiences.

WAIPA & ILO TRAINING: EFFECTIVE INVESTMENT FACILITATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
DATE: May 2016, March 2017, April 2018, ITC Training Center Turin, Italy
Working with best practices and tools, participants gain a better understanding of how to improve investment facilitation to enhance the development impacts of FDI flowing into their countries, particularly concerning the creation of more and better jobs and the overall contribution of FDI in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The opportunity was simply spot on, right on time as the trend in Investment Promotion is both at the level of the real impact of IPAs role in the process of economic growth, but beyond also what kind of services and what strategy an IPA should implement to contribute to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
The program was successfully organized and perfectly designed in terms of duration and selected issues that were covered with a very valuable training presentations.
I definitely would recommend this course to those professionals interested in gaining more knowledge about the latest trends in investment facilitation from different points of views, because it has the participation of experts from other IPAs, the private sector and renowned international organizations.
The WAIPA trainers are very resourceful with a lot of hands-on experience that gave me the chance to evaluate the performance of my IPA against the best practices in the market today.
