India Energy Week (IEW) was organized from the 6th to the 8th of February in Bengaluru, India. It was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of the country, Mr. Narendra Modi.
The event focused on both renewable energy and the traditional oil and gas sector as part of its program. Several panel discussions and networking sessions were organized around the same.
The World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) participated in the IEW as an international exhibitor and showcased its work pertaining to the energy sector, particularly renewables. Furthermore, WAIPA displayed various investment opportunities available in its member investment promotion agencies (IPAs) countries.
WAIPA representatives networked with various local and international stakeholders of the energy sector and highlighted the organization’s sincere commitment to sustainability and more specifically the renewable energy sector.
