1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or attending the World Investment Conference (“the Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Free Participation

Participation in the World Investment Conference is free of charge. No registration fees, attendance fees, or mandatory payments are required to access conference sessions, conference venue, lunch or coffee-break areas (not including catering services), or standard event materials offered by the Organizing Committee. Optional paid services (e.g., premium workshops, B2B or other networking packages, or third-party exhibitor products) are clearly labeled and governed by separate terms.

 

3. Registration & Eligibility

  • Registration is limited to one account per individual and is non-transferable.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Misrepresentation may result in registration cancellation.
  • We reserve the right to verify professional credentials and deny or revoke registration if eligibility criteria are not met.

 

4. Code of Conduct & Professional Behavior

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff are expected to maintain a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment throughout the conference. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or unauthorized commercial solicitation will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event, without refund of any paid services (if applicable), and future event bans.

 

5. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

  • Conference materials, presentations, branding, and digital content are the intellectual property of the Organizing Committee or respective rights holders.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit conference content without explicit written permission.
  • By attending, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs, video, or audio recordings featuring you for promotional, archival, and reporting purposes. You may opt out at registration or on-site.

 

6. Schedule Changes & Cancellations

We reserve the right to modify the conference schedule, speakers, venue, or format due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or operational needs. The event is provided “as is,” and we do not guarantee the availability of specific sessions, speakers, or networking features.

 

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizing Committee, its affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your registration, attendance, or use of event platforms.
  • We do not provide financial, investment, or legal advice. All speaker presentations and discussions are for informational purposes only and do not constitute recommendations. Attendees assume full responsibility for their own professional and financial decisions.
  • Personal property brought to the event is your sole responsibility. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage.

 

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Geneva, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

 

9. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our registration portal. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
