Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, the Dubai Investment Week 2019 was held in Dubai at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Godolphin Ballroom.
WAIPA Executive Director Bostjan Skalar was participating as a speaker to the Impact FDI Forum, which took place on 1 October 2019. In his speech he emphasized that empowered IPAs with a clear strategy and focus will lead the way and will become even more crucial for investors and governments alike.
The Dubai Investment Week 2019 program aimed to provide the investor community with the latest updates and insights on current, new and emerging investment opportunities across key growth and emerging sectors in Dubai and the region, all centered around the theme of “Investing in the City of the Future”. The program featured speakers from government and business leaders in a number of high-level keynotes, a number of spotlight Keynotes and expert panels and Fireside-Chats.
DIW program featured a number of strategic forums that discussed the most important topics and trends of the local and global economy. DIW aimed to enhance readiness, keep pace with future transformations and provided participants with insights on “Impact FDI” and new opportunities for cooperation and partnership with the global investor community.
Dubai Investment Week is an official Dubai Government event organized annually by Dubai Investment Development Agency (DUBAI FDI).
