UNCTAD and GIZ are organizing the webinar session entitled: “ Mainstreaming Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into investment promotion and investment facilitation: Focus on African SEZs ”, to be held on Tuesday 22 February at 10:00 a.m. (CET). 

The session is the second webinar part of the technical cooperation organized for the dissemination of the findings of The Handbook on Special Economic Zones in Africa: SEZs for Economic Diversification in Africa, developed by UNCTAD in partnership with GIZ.

The Handbook, officially launched during the World Investment Forum 2021 last October, examines trends and best practices in African SEZs, and serves as a foundation for technical cooperation in the development of sound policy guidelines for the development of more effective, resilient and sustainable SEZs in Africa.
