Day 3 of WAIPA’s flagship event focuses on partnerships, regional cooperation and operational excellence for resilient investment
Riyadh — The third and final day of 28th World Investment Conference (WIC) centered on the importance of strategic alliances and cross-border collaborations to drive resilient growth.
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and together with host Invest Saudi, the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies held its annual gathering in Riyadh November 25-27, 2024. The official theme was “Harnessing Digital Transformation and Sustainable Growth”.
Day 3 featured more than 30 sessions, with the day’s discussions covering industrial investment, digital marketing strategies for investment promotion agencies, and the role of specialized zones in attracting foreign direct investment.
“By strengthening ties between nations and sectors, WIC 2024 has created lasting connections that will shape the global investment landscape,” said Ismail Ersahin, CEO and Executive Director of WAIPA.
Key Highlights from Day 3:
Session on Cross-Border Partnerships: Addressed ways to foster trust and transparency in international investment.
Masterclass on Digital Marketing for IPAs: Shared effective strategies to attract high-value investors.
Closing Remarks: WAIPA and Saudi representatives underscored the pivotal role of partnerships in a rapidly evolving global market.
In closing the event, H.E. Khalid A. Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, expressed his gratitude to WAIPA for the strong collaboration and said, “The conference not only met my expectations but exceeded them.”
H.E. Ibrahim Almubarak, Assistant Minister of Investment and CEO of the Saudi Investment Promotion Agency, said, “I want to give thanks to the WAIPA leadership and the WAIPA community at large for their support and for giving us the opportunity to host the World Investment Conference.
