WAIPA is pleased to announce the candidacies for a new WAIPA Steering Committee, to be elected for the 2021-2023 term.
The elections will take place on the first day of the 25th WAIPA World Investment Conference on 20 October, 2021 at the General Assembly in virtual form.
The nominated candidates, which have sent their candidacies until the deadline for the following positions of the 2021 – 2023 WAIPA Steering Committee are:
- Presidency: Invest India
- Vice-Presidency: The Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Switzerland Global Enterprise
Regional Directorships for:
- Sub-Saharan Africa: Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), Invest Durban
- Middle East and North Africa: Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA)
- Central Asia: Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO)
- South Asia: vacancy
- East Asia and Southeast Asia: Invest KOREA
- European Union: Business Finland – Invest Finland, Enterprise Greece, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH)
- Eastern Europe: Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA BIH), Invest Cyprus
- Central America and the Caribbean: Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE)
- South America: INDI Minas Gerais Investment and Trade Promotion Agency
- Oceania: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour (MCIL) Samoa
