We are excited to announce the launch of our exclusive “Global FDI Masterclass Series” designed to elevate the capacities and efficiency of our esteemed member IPAs. As part of our commitment in the field of investment promotion & facilitation, it is important for us as a global community of IPAs, to continuously innovate and adapt to the evolving landscape of investment.

The Masterclass Series is a practical training initiative exclusively for IPAs, comprising of monthly sessions scheduled throughout 2024. This meticulously structured program aims to equip IPAs with essential expertise and skills indispensable for navigating the intricacies of today’s dynamic and fiercely competitive global landscape.

The first session on Strategic Event Planning for IPAs: Effective Organization and Participation will be held on 18th April 2024 where you will have the opportunity to learn how to orchestrate impactful events that attract key stakeholders and maximize engagement for enhanced outcomes.

The session begins with a welcome address by Mr. Ismail Ersahin, Executive Director & CEO, WAIPA. This will be followed by an address from Mr. Nitin Jaiswal, Head of Asia Pacific, Bloomberg LP. Bloomberg LP, a media conglomerate and provider of financial information has organized / partnered for some of the most relevant global investment events. Mr. Jaiswal is also a member of WAIPA’s Business Advisory Board. We will then turn to two investment promotion agencies, Invest Telangana, a subnational IPA from India has organized sectoral events (such as BioAsia) and will share insights on using sectoral events as a mechanism to attract a substantial investments. Invest Finland has a very well-structured approach towards participation at events / tradeshows and they will share insights from the same. Finally, we will hear on Maximizing Global Trade Fairs for Enhanced FDI: A Strategic Blueprint from Mr. Nitin Pangam, an expert in the field.
