As part of the upcoming Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) in Algiers, the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) is pleased to invite Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) from across Africa to the Mini Summit of African Investment Promotion Agencies, organized by the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) in partnership with African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and with the support of WAIPA.

Taking place on 5 September 2025, this high-level summit will bring together leading African IPAs to:

• Exchange best practices,

• Present impactful case studies,

• Identify actionable strategies to improve the investment landscape across the continent.

The Mini Summit will underscore the strategic role of IPAs as key drivers of investor confidence, economic transformation, and regional integration—by facilitating investment, promoting innovative financing tools, supporting legal and institutional reforms, and accelerating digital infrastructure development.

Aligned with the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), this event will also feature a session with the AfCFTA Secretariat on the vision of a unified investment space and ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional support for investment promotion across the continent.

This timely initiative, held just ahead of the WAIPA World Investment Conference (WIC 2025) in October, provides an exceptional platform for:
